Collection: LIP Watches

LIP watches

In 1867, Emmanuel Isaac Lipmann, son of a seller of watchmaking supplies, created a watchmaking workshop in Besançon, the "Comptoir Lipmann", which would become the largest watchmaking company that France had ever known. The Lip brand was officially registered in 1908. Lip has always innovated throughout its history. It is the first brand to offer phosphorescent dials, created by Pierre and Marie Curie. In 1952, Lip created the first electric watch, the “Electronic” model. In 1974, seven designers infused their creativity into the collections. The models immediately become legendary thanks to their design and technicality. Heroes like De Gaulle or Churchill put it on their wrist.
