The collaboration between Fred Lip and Lionel Terray, a high mountain guide, gave birth to the Himalaya, a watch model of exceptional reliability and resistance for the time. It was with this watch that Maurice Herzog climbed Annapurna (8091m) in 1950 alongside Lionel Terray and Louis Lachenal.
The LIP Himalaya 671600 watch is a small women's watch (29mm). It is powered by a Ronda 1069 quartz mechanism. We like the display of the second hand in the sub-dial at 6 o'clock. The elegant steel case, waterproof to 50m, of this classic LIP is mounted on a beige leather strap.
